"You never know where inspiration will strike next." - Unknown

Back in early March 2020, I had a performance with RNL on a showcase called 'Beats After Brunch' created by Slimkat78 and hosted by Kev Brown. This monthly event brought out the who's who in the DMV when it comes to music production. In its short run, it became the space to network and hear some dope ass music in the process. I met Ronin Way that night and we briefly chopped it up prior to my set. That was a great night but sadly would be the final 'Beats After Brunch' due to CoViD ultimately putting a halt to the way we all functioned. As a result, we all found ourselves leaning heavily on technology as a primary means of communication.

As time passed, Ronin and I would keep in touch about upcoming releases I had on the way. We eventually decided to link up via ZOOM to go over some things that would hopefully aid him in his production. Now as inspiration tends to do, the idea hit me while creating this track to suddenly request that he drop a verse on it. This is the result of what we came up with once our pens stopped moving.

Moving forward, the Oneoffs will be a run of single collaborations featuring different artists to continue to spread our sound around, while creating stronger connections in the process.
